IMS conformance
Implementations of both tool consumers and tool providers can be issued with a conformance logo to confirm that they are able to respond to a variety of launch conditions. For example, a tool providers must be able to handle requests containing varying degrees of personal data as well as invalid requests. The testing process is relatively quick and straightforward and available to any IMS member. The passing of the conformance tests should be viewed as a mark of quality and reliability for an application, and should be expected whenever procuring LTI-enabled services.
